Simon & Angie – Allegro Wedding Photography

We started off by calling in to see both Simon and Angie in the final stages of their preparations and it was obvious from the start just how close both are to their families and how important it was going to be to document this in their wedding photographs.
As this was a day time wedding (eg: a 11am start for the ceremony) it allowed us opportunities we do not see too often as the vast majority of the time (maybe 85-90%) the ceremony will start at 2pm or later. This being the case we had a gorgeous morning light to enjoy not only during Simon & Angie’s preparations but also coming through the trees at Allegro before and during the ceremony – quality Sydney wedding photography potential everywhere you look!
Simon & Angie used the panoramic outdoor setting at Allegro for their ceremony and officially tied the knot at 11am on a beautifully warm and blue skied day with the ambience of a string quartet playing in the background – words like personal and perfect spring to mind.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and had plenty of fun through the day – sometimes laughter is all you need in a photograph.
Simon & Angie were formally announced into their reception at 1pm and among a lot of candid wedding images of the guests enjoying themselves we were kept busy with the likes speeches, a cake cutting, the bridal waltz, whisking the bride and groom around the grounds of Allegro another once or twice not to mention the detail in the preparation of Allegro made for some excellent images.
A little info on Allegro – located in the rural surroundings of Kenthurst in Sydney’s northwest Allegro is a secluded treasure chest for Sydney wedding photographers looking for the native and natural looking Australia. Only visible from the road by their sign it is surrounded by tall trees that appear to break the clouds and the function centre itself has a natural charm that amazes with exposed timbers, large windows and huge outdoor area, all of which is elevated and enjoys panoramic views across the native bush. Add to this the incredibly picturesque outdoor ceremony area with large timber decking and gazebo and we are sure you are starting to see the beauty both in the experience of having your wedding at Allegro and the countless photographic opportunities that wait all professional Sydney wedding photographers.
Did we mention we had loads of fun?
There was a change in get up for Angie just before entering the reception and she looked amazing in both (Simon scrubbed up not too bad either).
Obviously there are countless venues a bride and groom can choose to capture their Sydney wedding photography and the appeal is certainly not limited to the Opera House or Harbour Bridge, take a drive in any direction of the Sydney CBD and you will quickly see the unlimited potential. Mix the fantastic natural setting of Allegro with great people having loads of fun and you have a wedding day that was just brilliant to be a part of. Thank-you for the great day Simon & Angie and we look forward to showing you the hundreds of other images we captured.
