As a Sydney wedding photography specialist we have covered weddings at Allegro on several occasions and it is always great to escape the clutches of the likes of the picturesque Sydney Harbour, I suppose that is one of the main reasons why we generally do not charge travel fees. That aside here is a fantastic day we were a part of last weekend on September 3, 2011 celebrating the wedding of Trish & Carlo.
Around 2pm we called in to see Trish and her bridesmaids for the final stages of their preparations at the Hills Lodge in Castle Hill before heading off to see Carlo and his groomsmen welcoming the guests to Allegro. Trish & Carlo used the picturesque outdoor setting available at Allegro for their ceremony and officially tied the knot at 4.30pm on a beautifully warm and blue skied day.
Given that sunset was only minutes away at the conclusion of the ceremony we got straight into capturing some images of the bridal party and more importantly of Trish & Carlo on their own. At the same time all of the guests were ushered inside for some drinks and canapés on Allegro’s massive elevated and covered balcony which overlooks the local native Australian bush.
Trish & Carlo were formally announced into their reception at 6.30pm and among a lot of candid wedding images of the guests enjoying themselves we were kept busy with the likes of a number of songs being performed by family and friends, half a dozen speeches as well as the cake cutting and a bridal waltz.
There are countless venues a bride and groom can choose to capture their Sydney wedding photography and Sydney’s photographic appeal is certainly not limited to the Opera House or Harbour Bridge, take a drive in any direction of the Sydney CBD and you will quickly see the unlimited potential and countless amounts of opportunities. Mix the fantastic natural setting of Allegro with great people having loads of fun and you have a wedding day that was just brilliant to be a part of. Thank-you for the great day Trish & Carlo and I look forward to showing you the hundreds of other images we captured for you.
A little more on Allegro – located in the rural setting of Kenthurst Allegro is a secluded gold mine for Sydney wedding photographers looking for the native and natural looking Australia. Only visible from the road by their sign it is surrounded by tall gum trees you swear are about to break the clouds and the function centre itself has a real natural charm and it amazes with exposed timbers, large windows and huge outdoor area, all of which is elevated and overlooks the native bush. Add to this the incredibly picturesque outdoor ceremony area with large tiered timber decking and gazebo and I am sure you are starting to see the beauty both in the experience of having your wedding at Allegro and the countless benefits that are available to professional Sydney wedding photographers.
