Why take two on Sydney wedding photography? Simply put the bride and groom had a change of attire on their wedding day and decided that they did not fully satisfy themselves with the amount of time we spent photographing them in their traditional black suit and white wedding gown so they took advantage of our discounted $50 portrait shoots that are running until February 14, 2012.

There are so many benefits in having a photo shoot like this take place, brides get to wear their wedding dress again, you can look at heading somewhere completely different in comparison to where all of your wedding day photographs were captured and you can once again enjoy the general public yelling out things like “congratulations” and “looking good” while they oohhh and aaahhh at the photographs we taking of you. And lets face it take two on your Sydney wedding photography over a one-hour photo shoot capturing unlimited photographs for just $50 enjoys immeasurably more value than topping up the car with petrol or a trip to the movies!

So that being decided and because every one of Santhi & Chrishan’s wedding photographs was captured in and around the Sydney CBD we ventured out to Long Reef on Sydney’s northern beaches to take in the panoramic views across the Tasman Sea and Long Reef Golf Club not to mention the beaches, rock pools and many other appealing compositional elements that are available.

As a professional photography studio we have enjoyed capturing wedding photography at Long Reef on a number of occasions so we arrived on this particular day with a clear idea of what we wanted to achieve and capture. Now the only problem with that is the uncontrollable nature of Sydney weather and there is one of the beautiful things with photography in general, the unpredictable nature of things. With the cloud cover that was around we enjoyed an ever-changing light that would supply bright sunshine one moment and a filtered light through dark clouds two seconds later, not to mention we had spot lighting at times that shone exactly where Santhi & Chrishan were standing and quite literally no where else, just brilliant!

So with the beautiful light that was afforded to us wedding photography at Long Reef (for that matter any photography at Long Reef) is always an enjoyable experience because there are just so many compositional elements to work with, for example panoramic views, beaches, row boats, high tide/low tide changes, coastal bushland, pristine golf course and rocks pools just to name a few.

Whether it is take one or take two for your Sydney wedding photography making the trip to the northern beaches of Sydney will always be worth the effort, wedding photography at Long Reef is just brilliant in our book!
