Wedding Photography At Club Rose Bay

As the images suggest Kimberley & Michael’s wedding was full of surprises for everyone and made for some great wedding photography with untold amounts of laughter and special moments that cry out to be captured, everything a professional Sydney wedding photographer hopes for.

At the conclusion of Kimberley & Michael’s ceremony we ducked off to the local park for some ice creams and this was followed up by a surprise masquerade reception and a beautiful Sydney harbour sunset, not to bad at all really. Naturally all of this gave us plenty of opportunity for some wedding photography at Club Rose Bay.

Kimberley & Michael’s wedding ceremony took place at the incredibly picturesque HMAS Watson Chapel and we didn’t need to venture too far from there, with the likes of Watson’s Bay and Vaucluse with their beaches, parks and walkways the photographic opportunity is literally limitless.

Wedding photography at Club Rose Bay is beautiful enough in its own right but just five minutes up the road you have the magnificent and historic Macquarie Lighthouse (the first lighthouse in Australia), it is a must for us every time we are in the area as there are just so many ways in which you can capture the place.

With the surprise masquerade styled reception we set up a studio environment (including a white backdrop and studio lighting) to allow each and every guest to receive a quality studio styled portrait. This worked out amazingly well for us as Kimberley & Michael’s guests got really involved in the idea of playing up for the camera a little more than you might normally – one-hundred odd studio styled portraits full of fun, character and expression, brilliant!

Whilst the concept of ice creams in the park in their full bridal kit was met with hesitation by some this idea of Kimberley & Michael’s took place without incident and made for an incredibly relaxing hour or so in the park after their wedding ceremony not too mention it was a good bribe in getting the children to pose and smile for the above group photograph.

Plenty of affection and cuddles throughout the day between the bride & groom meant that wedding photographs were never to far away.

You have to love having the children around; a photograph is never far away there either.

There is a clown at every wedding but this was a bit different! We are not sure if this is all this particular clown does (eg: greet each and every bride who takes a water taxi to Watson Bay wharf) but it made for some playful images and certainly got a giggle out of everyone there.

Wedding photography at Club Rose Bay also gave us the perfect environment around sunset time, there were tall trees, open parks, panoramic beaches and the boats on the water providing plenty of classic Sydney harbour sunset images.

And as we have said wedding photography at Club Rose Bay always has its own feel and look but the masquerade styled reception certainly gave Kimberley & Michael’s day that something unique and special not to mention it was plenty of fun to capture.

Thanks for inviting us to share in your special day Kimberley & Michael, we cannot wait to show you the rest of your wedding photographs and put together some real eye catching artwork (especially with these studio shots, there is so much potential there).
