Wedding photography at Norah Head and the central coast of New South Wales is a dream for professional wedding photographers and we would think any bridge and groom if for no other reason than the unlimited photographic potential that is provided naturally, in this case a lighthouse and golf resort – not too shabby!

Whether it is the middle of the day like this shot or at dusk with a beautiful sunset, wedding photography at Norah Head lighthouse gets our vote!

But never forget to do the old one-eighty degree turn to see what is on offer, in this case at was views across the Tasman Sea – what to photograph next should have been our catch cry here.

The caretaker of the Norah Head Lighthouse (thank-you Kimberley) kindly unlocked the main building allowing us the opportunity to go upstairs and onto the roof top for even greater views, not to mention the unique perspective it give us on the lighthouse itself was pretty handy too!

Maybe it’s just us but children at weddings always scream out (though not literally most of the time) ‘take my photo’.

Sunset at The Mercure didn’t work out too bad for us either with this beautiful boardwalk leading towards Brendon & Karina’s reception venue on the left.

Brendon & Karina tied the knot at 3pm in a personal and private ceremony at The Mercure on what was a beautifully blue skied November’s day. At the conclusion of the ceremony we captured plenty of images where the bride & groom mingled with their guests before capturing a whole group shot and heading of for the exciting experience of some wedding photography at Norah Head.

Documenting any wedding day always requires an intense amount of concentration and dedication – and maybe the odd drink or two.

And why should the love shared on the day only be for the bride and groom?

It is always tough when you have guests who are reluctant to be in front of the camera! Thankfully that was not the case here with Brendon & Karina’s friends and family being loads of fun and always making sure that there was laughter and plenty going on and naturally plenty for us to photograph!
