Just started this little Sydney wedding retouch from Monica & Mark’s wedding on the weekend and I couldn’t help myself stopping to post a handful. Great smiles. Awesome couple. Superb day. Love the results. I’m not sure if I’ve got much more I can add at this stage as the shots showcased here are by far the best way I can illustrate just how cool this day was.
I guess as far as the Sydney wedding retouch goes we’ve looked to soften/wash out a little of the contrast and with the black & white we have added a little sepia tone as well as some texture/grain. The sun flare is all natural courtesy of the amazing landscapes and sunsets the ‘Allegro Function Centre’ (in Kenthurst, Sydney) provides and there has been a touch of dodging and burning (aka lightening/darkening of certain areas) to bring out and hide certain aspects of each image.
More importantly though any Sydney wedding retouch would be nothing without fabulous people to put in front of the camera and Monica & Mark certainly fit that description (as do all of their friends and family). We had a superb time on Saturday and cannot wait to finish the boring labeling/filing of all their images and start getting stuck into the creation some genuine Fine Art photographs. Stay tuned people.
TECHNICAL FYI: This Sydney wedding retouch feature has been created with the use Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop as well as the plug-in Nik Software. If you would like to know more about producing images like the ones showcased here check out our courses and workshops via www.dcimages.com.au/workshops/
