With a few weddings still postponing as a result of CO-VID locking down the international borders, it has provided us the opportunity to celebrate and reflect upon those awesome weddings we got to be a part of just prior to the CO-VID lockdowns, yet haven’t found the the time to share with you here. So, with that being said/the case … here goes!

Calista & Paul … what a day! It started with a couple of tea ceremonies (one at the Star Casino and another on the lower north shore), before off we went to the wedding nuptials at St Andrews Cathedral. Throw in a few pics with the bride & groom before we were at the Golden Century for lunch, some speeches and loads of fun and smiles. We snapped a few more pics in the eastern suburbs before we wrapped up around 6pm. Not a bad day right! Top shelf fun all the way! Just the best of days! Calista & Paul & the crew made it so much fun, check it out!

What CO-VID! Talk about business as usual and how good was it! Sure, guests lists might be a tad smaller and we are all registering when we enter any venue, but from my side of the camera this is exactly how things were pre-CO-VID. Snapped only three-weeks ago in December 2020, check this out, Sal and Lauren’s big day at Mystwood Estate in Wollombi. Here’s 150+ pics demonstrating why this was the best day, enjoy!

It appears my experiences across 700+ weddings have made me a kind of Sydney wedding planning guru, instead of a ‘Master of Ceremonies’ maybe a bit of a ‘Master of Weddings’. I suppose it is only natural. As a professional wedding photographer I work to provide the best solution for everyone throughout the entire day. The couple. Their family. Their guests. The countless other wedding professionals involved (sometimes twenty or more). It can be a lot of boxes to tick and unless you have genuine experience in Sydney wedding planning some key aspects can be sadly overlooked. So, in no particular order here are a bunch of tips straight off the bat that will help guide you in putting together the perfect wedding day.

Check it out! My first wedding back in 2018, January 6 with Mel & Matt and it was #awesome! Briefly…… I photographed Mel’s sisters wedding 4-5 years back, we had a ceremony in Kellyville, pictorial shots of the bridal party in Mosman, the reception at Orso Bayside Restaurant at The Spit, we had clear blue skies, maybe a little too much wind and a fun, out going and great looking bridal party – I had been looking forward to this day for ages. I could go on forever but they reckon/say a picture speaks a thousand words so rather than me going on I’ll let the selection of 140+ images showcased here do all the talking on just how awesome this day was. Enjoy!

(FYI Mel & Matt have been kind enough to provide a list of their wedding suppliers and we have included that list at the end of this post).

Just before Christmas I had the pleasure of photographing Alyx & Pat's nuptials at the Butchers Daughter in Crows Nest, Sydney. This awesome location has character all over the place (as you can see) and was the perfect spot for the 40-50 guests invited to share in Alyx & Pat's special day. The hidden lane ways, local buildings and streets provided...

Hello everyone! Say hi to George & Elizabeth who celebrated their wedding day at Centennial Vineyard in Bowral mid November this year. As you can see this was a pretty spectacular day to witness let alone photograph so I will let you jump straight in and check things out. Six-hours earlier this is how we began...
